Upon arrival at the Bangalore railway station or airport, our representative or guide will warmly welcome you. You will then be picked up and embark on a delightful 6-hour drive to Shimoga. The name Shimoga is derived from the words 'Shiv-Mukha', which translates to 'Face of Lord Shiva'.
Upon reaching Shimoga, you will proceed to check in at the hotel. After a well-deserved 2-hour rest at the hotel, you will have the opportunity to visit the Bhimeshwara temple, which is located just a 10-minute drive away and situated on the picturesque shore of the famous Bhimtal lake.
For those interested in shopping, you can explore the local markets at your own leisure. Here, you will find a variety of handicrafts, including rosewood carvings, sandalwood products, sarees with Kasuri work, and wooden toys made of lacquer.
