Tour Plan

Day - 1 Arrival in Srinagar

  • You will arrive at Srinagar airport and be welcomed by a representative who will escort you to your awaiting Shikara houseboat on the tranquil Dal Lake.
  • A Shikara boat is a beautifully decorated wooden boat that is a signature aspect of Kashmir. Spend some time settling in and admiring the lovely scenes of mountains and gardens floating by on the lake from the houseboat.
  • In the evening, embark on a 1-2 hour relaxing Shikara ride on the lake to witness first-hand the sights of lush floating farms, vendors selling fruits and vegetables from tiny wooden boats, and lakeside villages.
  • End your day with a flavorful traditional Kashmiri dinner right on your luxury houseboat. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day - 2 Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark to visit the famous 300-year-old Mughal gardens Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), known for fountains and manicured gardens.
  • Next photo stop at the iconic Palladium Temple overlooking all of Srinagar city.
  • Drive through Lal Chowk City Square, once a bustling nerve centre.
  • In the afternoon, take a Shikara ride on the placid Manasbal Lake, surrounded by the Jharokha Hills.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day - 3 Full-day trip to Sonmarg Valley

  • Leave early in the morning for a scenic drive on the Srinagar-Leh highway to Sonmarg, Meadow of Gold.
  • On arrival, visit the freshwater spring that is the source of the Sindh River. You may also opt for a pony or camel ride to Thajiwas Glacier.
  • Stop at the revered Hindu temple Kheer Bhawani, dedicated to Goddess Raganya Devi.
  • On your way back, stop at a local handicrafts emporium to buy some Kashmiri souvenirs.
  • Overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.

Day - 4 Transfer to Gulmarg

  • Start your onward journey to Gulmarg after breakfast and hotel checkout. The 2-hour drive is equally beautiful.
  • On arrival, enjoy Asia’s highest and longest cable car ride to soak in views of the Affarwat Peak and Gulmarg valley.
  • Evening at leisure for shopping at the local market and taking a stroll around the charming hill town.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg, which is styled like a Swiss alpine lodge.

Day - 5 Return from Gulmarg

  • Half-day activity: choosing between beginner ski lessons or sledge riding on snow.
  • Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Kali on the hills of Gulmarg's Golf Course.
  • After lunch, transfer from Gulmarg to Srinagar airport, bidding farewell to Kashmir.

"1. A 20% cancellation fee equal to the entire tour cost will be applied to any cancellations made 30 days or less before the departure date. 2. Refunds for cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the departure date will be 30% of the total tour price. 3. There would be cancellation fees equal to 50% of the total tour cost for any cancellations made seven to fifteen days before the scheduled departure date. 4.
